That maybe my story soon. My Dutch born kids were 1, 2 and I’m Proud Mom Of Freaking Awesome Farmer Gift Shirt. Now they are 14, 15 & 16yo. We are here on an E2 visa. We still have a few years left and hope for another solution. I also have 2 American born children: – a 3yo girl adopted from foster care and a 7mo foster girl. I’m a single mom with 4 businesses in the US. If my oldest kids have to go back to the Netherlands it would rip our family apart. I’m hoping I can “give” each of my kids one of my businesses so they can stay here on their own E2 visa.

What people fail to understand is that there’s no path to become a resident and I’m Proud Mom Of Freaking Awesome Farmer Gift Shirt. The only option is to marry a citizen and my best guess is the father is already Married to his kid’s mom who is Dutch as well and the boys are too young to be married. Therefore without having that option they have “0” options… why is it so hard for people to understand that this is the problem. There are no paths to residency unless you marry a citizen or being petitioned by a family member which still can take up 10-20 years.

This is HORRIBLE! Why isn’t there some way to expeditiously review this type of application for citizenship and/or provide a visa allowing this young man to stay and I’m Proud Mom Of Freaking Awesome Farmer Gift Shirt he has been doing all these years? Must his family sacrifice their lives too when so many of our farmers are struggling. Helping this young man…who apparently has so much support from his community…would in the long run help many others and our economy.
