I comment that their jasmine is blooming beautifully in the backyard. We decide to do a mini photo shoot and end the session with a silly Canelo World Champion 4x No Boxing No Life shirt . I end up on the bathroom floor, hugging their toilet for a bit. H decides it’s time to go, and I express how sorry I am for ruining the evening. He placates me, reminding me it’s already 8 and we need to drive back to the Bay since tomorrow is Monday. His parents stock us up with extra ribs, a plate of carrot cake, and packets of popcorn (they know me too well!). As soon as I’m in the car, I fall asleep.
