Most of that is true except for the Sharpie on the Cleveland Indians Caucasian shirt. Grady (Dime’s tech) wrote “The Dean From Hell” on the headstock actually. He pretty much retired the DFH in the mid 90’s because it was in such bad shape from all the wear and tear. The headstock had been broken and repaired so many times, it’s unbelievable. Not to mention all the other DIY stuff that was done to it.

He didn’t buy the Cleveland Indians Caucasian shirt . Buddy Blaze – the dude that got the guitar and painted it – basically gave it back to Dime. The guitar was red before the paint job and it was a guitar that Dime won in a guitar contest. Dime tried to sell it to Buddy so he could buy the Firebird, but Buddy refused and told him “Don’t sell your trophies.” Dime eventually sold it to Buddy’s band mate and bought the car.
