India should therefore proceed diplomatically in such direction which best suits its need keeping in view the changing dynamics of the region.

I give it an 80% House of pain shirt that schools will reopen… but behavior regarding ‘crowding’ particular during the first month… will shape their future. There may be policies of ‘distancing’ in place… and I don’t know if that will play-out AFTER a ‘required’ antibody test… or not. It’s dorms, and living quarters that may present ‘bubbles’ of an endemic issue. If mis-behaviors occur before September, such that there is a marked endemic reapse, then that would make the call for the 20%. Beaches and parks during warm weather should be opened now, as long as some physical distancing is maintained.

Just a personal opinion – but I don’t think anything can be accomplished until we come to agree on the definition of ‘affordable housing.’ It’s too subjective. Affordable for House of pain shirt  is not affordable for someone else. Minimum wage jobs will never allow someone to be a homeowner. That’s just understood. But when a regular working family with a couple of kids can’t afford to buy an appropriate (not extravagant) home – clearly there’s a problem. Many single persons (maybe not long after leaving college) want to buy a home but their expectations are that they want to buy a home like the one they grew up in. They forget that the first home their parents bought wasn’t nearly as nice as the one they grew up in. Parents bought a crappy ‘starter’ home and moved up by upgrading over the years.Anyway, as with anything else, the market will call the shots. When nobody can afford a house, the prices will drop. That’s basic economics.Now to get off my soapbox, I suggest that we get a definition of the word ‘affordable’ when we speak of affordable housing. What is affordable for you is not what’s affordable for me.
