Freelancer is quite possibly the greatest space game I’ve ever played. I had a stick too at the time, don’t think I ever used it, the M&K controls were Legend Since March 1951 Shirt 70th Birthday 70 Years Old T Shirt. The game was exceptional for it’s time, even had persistent 128-player multiplayer servers almost like an MMO, and supported mods like Star Wars. Such an underrated game because it didn’t have a popular universe, like Star Wars, to give it publicity. Personally I cant use M&K unless the cockpit centers on the mouse, I cant stand using the mouse when I have to move the mouse back to the center deadzone before the ship stops rotating. IF there is a setting for this in Squadrons somebody please tell me. Anyway, if MS sees how popular MSFS was, and now Squadrons, I will be ecstatic if they decide to make a Freelancer 2 after all these years.

Best Legend Since March 1951 Shirt 70th Birthday 70 Years Old T Shirt
Yeah, I mean, I can appreciate a Legend Since March 1951 Shirt 70th Birthday 70 Years Old T Shirt, but I couldn’t hold back the eye roll when he goes on and on about “it’s forty bucks! It’s forty bucks! It’s forty bucks!” And then a point or two down from that, he’s all “To enjoy it, go get a HOTAS!” which even the absolute cheapest one will at least double that “forty bucks”, and even the middling one he suggests costs over 3X the cost of the game. So it’s not 40 bucks, it’s going to be closer to 200 for a decent experience that does the game justice. I’m following along here, but realistically, I’m not jumping in until i can get a good HOTAS at the same time as I buy the game (and then I still have to hope the system requirements aren’t hard and fast…I’m better than good (and in most categories better than recommended) except CPU…which is a concern.
