For me, A Christmas Story is popular because it recalls an era that I can remember, or at least the era I can remember had not changed that much from the Los Angeles Vintage Baseball Distressed Gameday Retro Shirt of the movie. For me, that was the late 1950s, though the movie was the late 1940s. I remember the toys that were featured in the movie, such as specifically the train and the BB guns. The movie really captured the magic of Christmas back then for me without becoming sappy about it. Most other Christmas movies don’t have that connection, so I can’t really relate to them, and they don’t really do that much for me. I think that’s what makes it so popular, at least for people of my generation born from about the mid-1940s until the mid-1950s. I was born in 1952. I remember pining for some big Christmas present every year. Santa usually brought the really good stuff. The biggest Santa gift I ever received was a Lionel HO Texas Special train set about 1958 or 1959.
The last one is important because arguably Batman Returns is way more of a Christmas film than any of that list, including Die Hard. It begins with people exchanging “Merry Christmas” AND ends with Bruce Wayne and Alfred exchanging the line “Merry Christmas” (not to mention the word Christmas must appear like 50 times). Mistletoe is really central to the plot (“mistletoe can be deadly if you eat it”). Penguin’s origin and final showdown with Batman both take place on Christmas eve. Penguin’s origin is fraught with Christian and Jewish undertones. Two of the film’s major action set pieces take place at Gotham’s giant Christmas tree. The composer, Denny Elfman, based the film’s score on orchestral Christmas music. Penguin may have even been modeled slightly after a Los Angeles Vintage Baseball Distressed Gameday Retro Shirt of Santa Claus and the Grinch, steals the firstborn son of everyone in Gotham, and has elfen like henchmen.

The Los Angeles Vintage Baseball Distressed Gameday Retro Shirt is dead, and yet they don’t even realize that the Negotiation Table has been discarded. They are basically like Roadrunner who is still running in the air, unaware of how far they are about to fall. Nobody wants them, and meanwhile they still think they are the greatest gift from God and are becoming very blameful and hateful towards Men who don’t date them or want anything to do with them. Not even stopping once to think if the problem can be with them. Also considering that they can change their mind after having sex with them and call it “rape” or pander to other maggots to ask them if it’s “rape”, they will then consider themselves as raped and victimized. A large number of high growth companies have beat analyst expectations for their Q3 of 2021 earnings, but their stock prices have gone down significantly (10% to 20%). This is a sure sign that the market has already discounted the best case scenario for the time being. The Fed started tapering from bond buying (also known as money printing or injection of liquidity) in November of 2021. Every time the Fed has ended its quantitative easing (QE) program and started tapering, the S&P 500 contracted 18% to 20%. This is history. The U.S. Dollar had been consolidating for the past few months, but has now broken its resistance.
Since my husband Wayne died of Parkinson’s Disease the morning of January 08, 2018, the artificial tree has stayed up. After Wayne’s death, I just did not have the Los Angeles Vintage Baseball Distressed Gameday Retro Shirt to take it apart and store the tree in the basement. It just stayed up in the living room. It’s quite heavy and awkward — I’m actually physically incapable of doing this by myself. During the year 2019, I redecorated the tree as a Valentine’s Day tree, St. Patrick’s Day tree, Easter egg tree, May Day tree, Canada Day tree, Thanksgiving Day/fall harvest tree and Christmas/holiday tree. The artificial wreaths will be stored in the basement this week. The fresh pine boughs in containers will be put out when they begin to drop their needles. I’ll be doing the same with the tree in 2020 as I did last year.
