Hey! I ordered my pint about 2 months ago and it was delivered the day after I broke my leg on a long board. I try my best to practice daily if my ankle allows, and yesterday I confronted The Hill (the one that took my leg lol). I surmounted Pittsburgh Baseball Richard Rodriguez throw ball signature shirt ! But then I ate dumpster trying to get up a curb ramp way too slow because I was scared. No big deal! Dusted off, laughed, and then did drills on it until I felt good, now I know to take little bumps and edges and seems with a little bit of an upward rake and some more speed.
Big problem: how do I get over speed bumps? My community is fucking FULL of them. Way too many. They are every 70 feet or so, and I have to go over 5 just to get out of the complex. I tried once (too slow, again) and was bucked off my board. The reason I included the rest of the story is so hopefully you can understand my more timid nature on the board. I’m terrified of it! But it feels so freeing to dominate that fear.
