Trust me Im a doctor shirt

I did notice Trust me Im a doctor shirt dramatically after sixty…for the better. Turn-back-the-clock, life changing, “who knew” kind of better. Most of the changes I discovered quite by accident and now at age 62 I wouldn’t trade my health and vitality for any amount of money in the world. I retired from my job as a coach and college professor at age 60 (I’m a widow and was able to collect my late husbands social security.) I jumped into my RV and took a three month solo tour of the western US, documenting my journey, and living for the moment every day. I also could barely walk…my body was so riddled with inflammation. I was overweight, sluggish had brain fog, was weak and depressed, had metabolic syndrome, took 6 or 7 prescription drugs including opiates (two total knee replacements) anti-depressants, blood pressure meds, cholesterol meds, sleeping meds…need I go on?

My own opinion is that the college degree for software engineering is valuable, but unnecessary. I personally hire a lot of people without Trust me Im a doctor shirt in other fields as long as they can demonstrate talent and passion for the work. I have a take-home test that they do (takes between 1 and 3 hours) and if they nail it, they interview for culture fit and if that is good, I hire them. Once hired, my team and I personally invest time training and mentoring. In fact, we are in the habit of constantly training and mentoring each other on an on-going basis. People who work on my teams get more and better training in software development than any college provides… period.

It kinda bothers me too. Also the Trust me Im a doctor shirtclaim that a movie isn’t scary as if they’re stating an indisputable fact. Or that anybody who is scared by X movie is a bitch or something.It’s extremely common for people to become desensitised to horror content. And the type of people OP mentioned and the type I just mentioned are those who get desensitised and then get some kind of arrogance or ego from it.I’m fairly desensitised to horror and a lot of what used to scare me doesn’t anymore. Which is honestly disappointing because I love being scared to the point where I almost don’t want to continue watching. Most of the time I get a sort of mild fear from a horror movie, if any fear at all, but still watch them because I’m a horror fan and they still greatly interest and entertain me.Also side note OP, slow burn movies are among my favourite. When they’re done right they have atmosphere and pacing that leave me very satisfied by the time the credits roll.

Germany doesn’t have problems. If anything else could be said it should be along the lines of “despite Germany’s problems, the US has it worse in (these ways).”Sorry I have to post this, but irritating AF when people point out that [thing] is objectively better than [other thing], then someone jumps in and says but [other thing] kinda sucks, too…. and Trust me Im a doctor shirt leaves the reader with the implication that there’s no point in considering improvements to be made because there is no perfect solution. Perfect is the enemy of good (enough? Improving anything at all?) It’s the same argument done with social programs, environmental programs, etc. and shuts down any discussion of even minor improvements.Exactly, who on earth (Germany) can actually buy a house without getting in dept for the rest of his life? The median networth in Germany is only ~50k! Considering that most Germans are “old” (boomers) what’s the median networth of the people in the age group of 30 – 40? Let me guess, 30k? How are you supposed to start a family with that amount of money, let’s not even think about buying a house! I don’t know where this BS fantasy about “Germans have it so much better than Americans” comes from…Exactly, who on earth (Germany) can actually buy a house without getting in dept for the rest of his life?
