It’s much like Yule Rules Snow Flower Christmas shirt, except has fallen to Christians and due to its former world power status is much more dangerous. You can still see evidence out there about how progressive, educated, and modern the nation was, and there are still many people in the USA who could be labeled as such but only if it props up the economy. Every aspect of public life, and much of private life, is controlled and dominated by evangelical Christians. Thought leaders live in virtual hiding, in fear of being discovered. Education is butchered, communicable diseases of the past run rampant, and women can barely leave the home without permission of their husband or father. The USA is in steep decline and the rest of the world walks on eggshells waiting for the crazy nuclear power to strike out at the enemies of Jesus.

This matter of a secular state/country has Yule Rules Snow Flower Christmas shirt for a while, because the US and a lot of other countries, including mine in South America, kind of identify themselves as secular but they really aren’t. Regardless, I was thinking that if a state (or country) is secular, wouldn’t that mean that the sole basis upon which we draw legislation and pass laws would be that which we all share in common. Put in other words, that basis should be what unifies ALL OF US, regardless of sexual preferences, religious alignments…, i.e. our HUMANITY and the rights that our humanity inherently contain , including quality of life (among other that I would let you all elaborate on if you wish). I was just thinking that if our countries really remained true to that (not saying that our politicians and leaders can’t have their personal religious believes), it kind of kills off the ambiguity in matters such as abortion and lgbtq+ marriage and rights to adoption, etc… like they wouldn’t have to be fought for, they would be inherent to that one right of quality of life.
