Dont quit shirt

This seems rushed and I’m sorry but I saw your question and had to jump in. There are lots of ideas on Steve Spangler’s science site. I used to order materials from title for my work and they have great kits that made prizes for some of my events. You can teach about colours by making three dishes of Elmer’s glue with food colouring. Red Yellow and Blue are the three primary colours. Let your child make green by mixing yellow and blue or purple by mixing red and blue or orange by mixing red and yellow. Spread out a piece of wax paper and let them finger paint and mix colour as they work. Leave this to dry and you can peel off the artwork and stick it to a window or mirror.
Make music by blowing across the title of an empty bottle. Then put some water in the bottle, does it sound different? If you have some empty pop bottles you can set up a row of bottles having different levels of water and you’ve got an harmonica. Just remember blow across, not into the opening. Fold a small square of paper into a boat. Fill a flat baking dish with water and watch the boat float. Now squirt a bit of dish detergent at one end of the dish and watch the boat shoot across the surface. This is a demonstration of surface tension. Just one more. Make a lava lamp. Use a bottle or jar with a wide mouth. Three parts water one part cooking oil go into the jar. Now tip a spoonful of salt onto the surface and watch what happens.
